Who we are
We are a non profit 501c 3 that was founded in honor of our son Zach’s memory. Our passion is our invisible homeless. We believe that every individual deserves kindness and compassion, to give them some hope by knowing there are those of us that truly care. We provide backpacks to the homeless. These backpacks contain necessary items to survive the elements, such as a tent, sleeping bag, hygiene products, scarves, beanies, hand warmers , emergency blankets, blankets, pillows, socks, hygiene items, socks, water jugs, safety whistles, and flashlights in a backpack to carry with them. Our dream is to one day not have to provide tents, but to provide a community with services for the underlying conditions that may have led to homelessness. These individuals are not all drug addicts, mentally unstable or lazy. The growing population of homeless are elderly and disabled. Our mission is to never discriminate on any preconceived idea of each individual. They are someone’s family and never should anyone freeze by being turned away from a shelter due to differences in believes. We believe in serving the least of these as Jesus did without judgement. Our mission is to work with other organizations to bring love, hope, and healing to our communities in Oklahoma.
Our family: Danny and Lesa Reynolds founders of Zach’s Rays of hope Our son, Daniel and his lovely wife Jessica, and our son Zach , in loving memory we dedicate this foundation to him.
